@ethannarber I received my COPA Pilot magazine today and it talks about the PPR and NOTAM. When should we expect to see those?
Here is the post for the PPR form. It was also distributed via email this afternoon to those who indicated they’d be flying their airplanes in.

I received Ethan’s e-mail. There are two steps.
Step 1: PPR Form - I followed Ethan’s instructions and submitted the PPR form with my arrival / departure info etc. The FBO acknowledged via e-mail.
Step 2: CC Authorization - The FBO sent me its cc auth form to fill out, send back, and “complete” my PPR registration.

I thought we had until 9/17 to make the hotel reservations, but over the past weekend, I unsuccessfully tried to book our rooms at the Omni Hotel. The first time, it took me all the way through the payment (I entered my CC information) and then came back with an error. When I tried it again yesterday, apparently, there are now no rooms available now (at least on Saturday night, 10/11):
Any solutions from the brain trust? called the hotel directly and was told to contact the event leader. I already filled out the contact form on the Migration website and am waiting to hear back. Thanks in advance for any insight so we [hopefully] do not miss Migration.

Hi Braun, as of right now the room block is sold out for Saturday night. We are working with Omni, and if we are able to receive a few extra rooms and/or a few rooms become available, we will let everyone know.

Google told me there may be an occasional warm water, sandy-bottomed surf break on Amelia Island. I’ll be at the MA booth most of the time, but…

Hi Scott, if you’re referencing being registered for Migration itself, I do see your registration in the system.
For Erik and @ethannarber, have there been updates on if Omni will have any of their kid activities available this year?
Ethan: Thank you for anything you can do to get 2 rooms for us from the Omni so we can attend Migration this year. It took us a bit to work out the family logistics and I [wrongfully] assumed we had until 9/17 to make such reservations because of the below note on the Omni website link:

Long chat with the Omni today as they have seemed to “misplaced” my reservation. Not looking good for Saturday night. I may have to cancel the trip altogether.

Urgh. I think something is wrong with their booking engine or other technology, as I also went through all the steps to make a reservation on Saturday (including payment) and then got an error message.
There are no other nearby hotels and so we may also sadly miss Migration unless something changes. Wishing us both luck!
