New delivery report up

I’ve finally got some time to update the web site with a couple of new pictures, and a new delivery report from Peter Morton and Del Madden on the http://www.sr20.org/index.php3?maincont=storiesStories page. Read and enjoy.

Also the latest spec sheet in PDF form for Bruce’s Custom Cover for the SR20 is in the http://www.sr20.org/index.php3?maincont=links.htmlLinks page.

Well done, Clyde. I think I can speak for all of us when I saw we are greatly indebted to you for all of your work on this site.

Many thanks,

Great report! Thanks for putting this up, Clyde.

Del and Peter, I’d really like to hear more on your plans for an “all electric” Sr20. I assume that the remote gyro that feeds the Sandel is an electric unit, and you’ll have no vacuum gyros left on the plane. Are you going to pull out the vacuum pumps?

Given your long experience at Boeing, I’ll bet you’ve done a good analysis of the tradeoffs in losing the vacuum backup to the electrical system. I’d like to hear your thoughts on this.

Has Cirrus indicated any movement toward making the Sandel a factory option on the 20?
