I get in town Thursday afternoon. Is the official start/registration of Migration that evening at COPA Cabana? And does this go through dinner?
Sorry if this is a basic question. It’s my first time attending a Migration.

Yes it is the official start. Other than a class I am doing earlier in the day there is nothing else scheduled for Thursday. COPA Cabana is a social event with drinks and snacks. No official dinner is planned afterward. It usually goes on for a few hours.

If you’re flying into KSDL - the host FBO is Atlantic Aviation 480-948-2400. I emailed them when I registered (as directed) but of course they didn’t have any of my info - so I would recommend calling them. I believe there are shuttles at that FBO to the Westin but not sure if they begin thursday or not.
There are several of us playing golf Thursday afternoon. I have always found plenty to eat (and drink) at the Cabana party.

Thanks Roger. I was not able to get out there Wednesday night to attend your session on Thursday, but will definitely make that happen if/when you do it again!
It has been a standard to do it the Thursday (10 to 4) before Migration’s official COPA Cabana opening. We have done it for a number of years. I imagine it would be a future one. Look forward to seeing you at one.
Shuttles will run All day Thursday for the arrivals from SDL, and yes, there will be shuttles on Sunday for departures as well.
There will be a welcome BBQ at the Atlantic Hangar Thursday Afternoon put on by some of our COPA Vendors.
Official Start is:
COPA Cabaña Thursday Evening 6:30
Marshall’s Pavilion & Lawn
Plenty of food(light bites) and Drink.

Is there such a thing as a Saturday only ticket? Too many conflicts this week to make it down on Thursday.

We used to have single day tickets but they were never really used, and it was hard to manage.

Hi Eric. My brother whom I’m visiting in Scottsdale and is a pilot, did not sign up for event because of the price. He’s a Skylane guy but appreciates my Cirrus
Is the a possibility to get him in for a 1 day pass (Saturday)?
Assuming you are asking for a one day PAID for pass? These events take a lot of work and money to put on…

Yes, 1-day paid pass. And certainly understand if that’s not an option. Just inquiring in case that’s option for him.
