GPS Data Avidyne/Garmin

Hello from Australia!

I operate a SR20 here in Australia and have recently updated navdata for both the Avidyne and Garmin units.

Does anyone know if it is possible to get ground data for say the Avidyne unit to display roads, towns etc ??

I have contacted Jepp and Garmin with no success!

Any information would be appreciated.

The Avidyne and Garmins do not display towns, even in the U.S. Airports, yes. Towns, no.

In the U.S., the Garmins display major roads, while the Avidyne displays Interstate highways only.

I don’t know about down under. If Jepp and Avidyne say no, then I am afraid it is no.
