Ed, why nor try a double version of it to fix a sectional in front of the ARNAV ?
That would be a good useage of it, and of the panel space !
How did you attach the clip to the instrument panel? Did you use double stick tape, or something more serious? I have had very poor luck with all of the various tapes I could try.

Brand, what you do is buy a clip that has a suction cup screwed to it. Then you take the screw out of the suction cup and cut the suction cup to create a washer out of the rubber. Then on the panel you take out the existing screw with a allen wrench and put it through the clip,then the rubber washer,then back in the panel.
