Dale K(CEO/Co-Founder), Pat Waddick(President), Paul Brey (Senior VP Product Development) and other Cirrus Senior Staff will attend coffee meeting Oct 11 in Del Mar Room 7:15 to 8:15 am. Paul will have a 15-20 minute Jet Update for everyone. Q&A on Jet Update and other issues will follow.
Cirrus is asking for info on topics that they should be prepare to respond to.
I’d like to know what Cirrus will do to keep older G1 and G2 planes flying when parts like SIU and Entegra displays are no longer being produced and supported by third party former-partners like Avidyne.
I just consolidated the list and sent the following to Jeff Johnson @ Cirrus:
CAPS pricing - any changes/cost reductions since things came in-house?
Progress in the P-Static issue?
Vision training: Who will do initial type rating? Mentoring? Will there be certified sims available for initial or 61.58’s (e.g. Simcom)?
When will the G3 (and older) models have access to the brake fixes implemented in the G5?
Will Cirrus do a Service Bulletin (for G1 to G3) for ADS-B Out like they did for WAAS?
What is the status of Cirrus’ work on their diesel/JetA engine testing?
Parts pricing!
What will Cirrus do to keep older G1 and G2 planes flying when parts like the SIU and Entegra displays are no longer being produced and supported by 3rd Party (former) partners like Avidyne?
In turn, Jeff will forward the list to the speakers.
