I met an SR20 pilot recently from Burlinton, VT who winches his 20 into the hangar. Advantages are in our winter climate with ice on the ramp a winch is the only way to go. He made an adaptor that fits into the end holes of our tow bar and attaches a cable. Hook the winch hook to the cable and winch the pane in with all pressure on the nosewheel. If anyone has his Email address please send as I want to get a sketch of what his adaptor is like. I lost his Email address.
Also does anyone know of a winch other than the Allen Machinery one, price and where to order?
