When did airbag seatbelts become standard equip. on SR20?

What year? Were they always standard?

Airbags were not always standard. They became standard with SR22 Serial #1520, SR20 Serial #1541. I believe, but am not sure, that this was part way through 2005. (Generally speaking feature improvements were made at times not coinciding with the year of manufacturer - there are no “model years” other than from a perspective of the FAA airworthiness date.)

COPA members can download the Buyer’s Guide issue of Cirrus Pilot magazine (Jan 2008) which has a whole lot of detail about the history of the product line and when various features were added.
