SR-22 or Seneca III?

Tom:
Thanks! I am, however, still locked out of the member forums. Does it take a couple of days to process?

Best,
Andy

Andy,

It should be immediate… Did you get an email confirmation (if so, then that means the credit card definitely went through and it’s not on the payment side of things).

Did you pick a new username/password when you joined, or did you just use the one you had previously registered with?

You may want to send an email to webmaster@cirruspilots.org to have them check on the status of your account - it should let you in right away.

Andy: Maybe it does take a day or two to get it all set up. Then you will be ready to roll!! Use the archives—a great resource for you & a great bunch of people!!!

Steve:
I kept the same user name but changed my password. Database has me as a member now, but as of 11:00 am CDT this morning I still am locked out from the COPA side of the house. I did receive an electronic receipt as well.

I did send a message yesterday that the webmaster replied to. Others have checked and it shows I’m a member, so I’m really confused. I’m not sure if this is an artifact of my first joining under the same user name as the public side or the cookie function of Netscape 7.1.

I have to say that from what I’ve seen, COPA is right up there with the International Comanche Society and the ABS for data and information sharing among members, a very, very valuable tool. Of course I’m lucky to be living in Duluth and have a couple of friends who work at Cirrus.

Best regards (and hope to chat on the members side!)
Andy

Andy: Just tried to IM you and it said you are not a member so something is amiss. The guru should be able to fix quickly!

Andrew:
As the Membership Director, let me pipe in here. You were NOT logged in as a paying member. You were still listed as tentative for some reason. I have activated your membership and you should have an Email verifying this.

In the future, if you or other COPA users have MEMBERSHIP questions, please send emails to “membership@cirruspilots.org

Neither, ther’e just jealous of us Navy guys because we know how to really fly. Don’t worry, you’ll grow on them. I have.

Tom & Andy,

I was just looking at Andy’s record and while I was doing so and trying to remember how it was all set up (it’s been a while), someone – I think our current webmaster Doug – looks like they made the fix.

So hopefully you’re all set now…

Steve

Brian:
Many thanks to the staff and yourself for fixing the glitch! I’ve “wandering” the cyber-halls on the members side with great glee!

Best,
Andy

That was me that fixed the problem!

Thanks Brian! I was literally looking at the user database, saw Andy as a non-member, and the next time I refreshed it, he was a member!

Brian to the rescue! [:)]

And many thanks to all for making it happen!

A great tool for my decision making process!

Andy
