No hanger

Since hanger space is all taken at my airport I will have to tie my plane outside. What problems might I expect in keeeping a Cirrus outside in New England. Of course I will use a Bruce cover. Do you think the paint will wear faster than on metal?

I would try to find a way to attach a rudder gust lock (and of course add its removal to your preflight check list!) I would think that high gusting winds could be very unfriendly to an unlocked rudder. Although, I hanger my SR22 at home base I have been looking for a means to lock my rudder while ‘on the road’. Let me know if you find a solution.
