I’ve been trying to retrieve the guide using COPAM12 on redeem. Everything else on the devices works perfectly.

Get message “couldn’t connect to the guidebook server”.

Any suggestions? Using both an Air and a 6 on 8.02

That is strange. I just deleted by guide and redownloaded it on my ipad 2 with IOS 8,0.2 and no problems. I don’t have an Iphone 6, but there is nothing on guidebook support saying it is a problem.

Just for grins. Delete the guidebook app and then redownload the APP from the apple store. Maybe something got corrupted.

Let me know if that fixes it. If not, then I can have Guidebook do some checking. I asked them if they had any reports of issues with iphone 6 and they said no.

Great David. Glad it worked for you. I am showing 177 IOS downloads and 26 Android. We have many more attendees to go. Hope more will download now and not wait till check-in.

FYI: You don’t have to be a migration attendee to download the guide and see the information. Open to anyone.

Sure, David! Unlike previous years when program guides were only available for handout at Migration, Guidebook is distributed electronically. So, more folks (including pilots outside COPA as well as COPA members who cannot attend) can see what’s going on at our annual Migration event. Plus, it gives our vendors that are advertising more value for the $$ they invest in Migration.

Migration Attendees. There are new versions of the Guidebook APP on both the Apple Store and the Google Play Store. Please go and update your application. This is critical as it fixes some of the messaging capability and this will insure you get the latest info from the Migration Team. Thanks

Since we’re getting some emails from folks who have missed all of our earlier communications, I’ll bump this back to the top and make it sticky.

There has been some confusion. For reasons that don’t make sense now, when we created our event we chose to make the event PRIVATE. It does not show up in SEARCH. You have to enter a REDEEM CODE which is COPAM12. Lesson learned for our first time use. If I am envolved in this again, we will not make it private.

Just install Guidebook APP from your APP store. Then use the REDEEM code COPAM12

John : Thank you for all of the work that went into this. The guide book is great. If you want o attend an event you can click on it. Will the reminders show up on our calendar or do we have to be in Guidebook to get them?

Also call me on the new post issue when you can. I think it may be a “PICNIC” problem.

I hope I’m not the only Non I.T., push button pilot that was not able to down load this wonderful app/guide. If you can’t provide a printed copy can you at least post the schedule here so we can see what’s going on?

BTW. The events are synced to my calendar. All of the Guidebook reminders pop up on my schedule.

What a great tool. Any chance of geo referencing the maps to where we are?

It would be neat if we could tap where our meeting is and it show where we are and help us navigate this massive awesome hotel.

In the meantime we keep leaving bread crumbs so we can find our way back to our room.

Yes it is a bit confusing but the REDEEM CODE link on Guidebook and the COPAM12 code solves everything. This app is superb. Thank you.

Yes, if we use this APP again, the lesson learned since is to not make the Event private. The Migration Committee did not want people outside of COPA viewing the information and materials initially. That concern has now been removed.
