Local FSS tel. Numbers for Cell Phones

http://www.avweb.com>AvWeb posted the [local cell phone numbers for all the FAA Flight Service Stations.

As many of us have found out, when you use a cell phone to contact the FAA for WX, the system gets you to your home FSS. Since local knowledge is often important in interpretation of WX or other issues, dialing (pressing?) these local numbers will avoid this problem.

This list has been posted and discussed previously, but some may be new to the site or just missed it.

(The list has the Bridgeport, CT FSS highlighted only becasue that is the ultimate source of the list.)](http://www.faa.gov/ats/afss/bdrafss/HTML/cellphone.htm)

Marty:

Thanks for the website info. Mike Radomsky had posted a similar list (available in COPA’s Miscellaneous “Stuff” section) that might be more printer friendly than that on the web site, but don’t know if there are any changes in local numbers since then.

Yup, Mike is always a step or two ahead of me, but I was reposting it to draw attention to those who may have missed it the first time around.

Here is a link the the list on COPA’s site.
