Talked to Eddie. He had already had several responses and said he no longer needed help. Sounds like maybe another case of a starter not disengaging.

Eddie was stranded in Mississippi, not far from Mobile, AL. His airplane will stay there for a few days, and he’s on his way back home in a rental car.
His in-flight decision-making when he had a problem, was exemplary.
