Kevin et al,
I have four million dollars liability with no sub-limits. This is made up of one million from USAIG and a three million excess policy from (I believe) Belvedere through Halton Hall and Associates. Your current broker should know who Hal Hall is and should be able to deal with them. Hall will not deal directly with the customer, according to my broker.
The cost of the excess is just under $2k per year.
I am a 500 hour instrument rated pilot with a 1985 Piper Dakota based in Nashville and St. Petersburg.
Hope this helps.
BTW, I posted a new article because I don’t know how to post a reply without breaking up the message to which I am replying.

CHUCK- Sincere thanks-- this is the best news yet on insurance-- and four mil is a good minimum when a suit arises—been there–Tom
