Are they difficult to install? Can I install it myself or do I have to hire a professional?
Not particularly difficult to install. But you do need an avionics tech to do it. Some new equipment. Depends what you have already. Wiring, a 337 form filed… not trivial. The Cirrus fleet has different variations that need to be understood before I could tell you more in anyones particular case.
