Has anyone heard any news on the status of FADEC on the SR22?

Yes. Told recently de-icing is first priority. FADEC sometime after that. Sounded to me like >6 mos. out(my estimate not Cirrus’).

I was told a couple of months ago that Fadec should be ready this coming spring. This info came from Cirrus.

When I picked up my SR22 at the end of August there was an experimental SR22 with FADEC on the ramp. FADEC is expected 1Q '02 and will be around before deice.

And my SR20 was expected 1Q '01.

Any 411 on when deice will be available? Cost? Known ice?
