Does anyone know if the engine mod. to help with cold starting, is now standard in the new SR20s coming off the line? MIKE
Good question and I was wondering about this myself. I do know that the mod makes a tremendous difference to cold starting characteristics and have not had a problem since I had this installed a couple of weeks ago. I have also found that opening the throttle just a tad ( about one eighth of an inch) seems to help in very cold conditions.
I have the sr20A and I did a couple of cold starts it was the same as when temps were 50 and it was like 34 but I dont anymore about. Send Cirrus an email. from Don 705DM
