Delivery Dates

Good idea I also have been thinking on the same line. What I dont understand is why cirus is so secretive on this and anther point is how many pos are realy between each other. What I mean is if there is have 180 and say yours 213 or mine 215 are all the pos filled.I heard some are not.And how many sr22 are in the mix. I cant get this info. From them they sem to be open on all other items. From Don 215

Don’t sweat it, Don. The longer you wait, the better it gets! Think about it . . . when you bought in, you didn’t even expect the Garmin 430, GPS steering, digital transponder, and more. Also, the gross weight increase will be almost a certainty by the time you buy, and possibly the ARNAV weather uplink and engine monitoring. Think of all the other problems they’ve ironed out that you don’t know about. Actually, the show is better from the sidelines. At one point, we even thought about dropping back in line to gain an advantage in improvements, but dropping back in time seems to happen without trying.

Right you are, Gary. I actually did drop back from position #166 in order to capture 1) the GW increase, 2) the transponder upgrade, and 3) the possibility of a Sandel HSI option in the “C” package.

Looks like I’ll get 2 out of 3, but will now be delayed from Feb. to Sept. (instead of June).

FWIW, the original promise for #243 was “late June,” but I’ve just received a letter from Cirrus deferring delivery till September.

To their credit, they did offer to refund my just-paid Progress Payment. On the bright side, I suppose this is a small measure of continued solvency!

Michael

No offer to refund the progress payment for #235 . . . we just missed the cut off. Oh well, it’s only another $15K. It will help pay for the two Garmin 430’s.
