I received a prompt reply to my email to Cirrus regarding the preception talked about on this forum that the company has cooled on FADEC. The letter was sent to Mike Busch with the request that it was sent to the appropriate folks (Mike’s email adress was the only one that I had).
Tom Bergeron replied on behalf of the company. He said: “Please be assured that Cirrus will make Fadec engines availale on our products as soon as logistically practical. The company has no motive for delaying the implementation of fadec equipped engines and any speculation that there has been a cooling of company interest or more enthusiasm for diesel engines is not accurate”. “We are as disappointed as you over the length of time we have all been awaiting their (Fadec engines)arrival and placement into service”.
