CG Limits SR 20

I copied the CG Cirrus design Excel calc.program for the SR 20.
It shows that if I fly without rear seat pass. and a full tank, that I need to put 130 pounds in the Bags department in order to be just in the limits ??
can this be true ??
(my weight is 200 P.)

Probably not. Below is the W&B for our plane with the maximum load in the front seats. You can put an additional 100 pounds (to bring the gross up to 3000 in either the rear seat or the luggage compartment).

What figures did you use for empty weight and moment? The numbers published in the training material
are not representative of real aircraft. In our SR20 we can put full fuel and 360 lbs in the front seat and
still be in limits. Adding 20lbs to the baggage area allows over 400lbs in the front seats while remaining
inside CG limits.
Also, I believe the CG limits were revised with the gross weight increase. Haven’t seen the new limits
yet, but I can tell you at at the current forward CG limit, there is plenty of elevator authority in the flare.

Just picked up my SR20. Cloth interior, 2 blade prop, single alternator, B model, no stormscope, no TCAD.

2094 lbs, moment 297.368. As I picked the Avidyne, there is no MFD installed yet, so once installed it will be closer 2100 lbs.

And yes…having a great time, the plane flies beautiful. Very stable. A few new flying techniques. No problem with landings. Hard to believe I will be flying it away tomorrow.
