I have a 2016 SR22 (G6) and find the locking baggage door frustrating. I’d like to be able to replace the lock with a lockable push button that can operate without the key and lock only when needed. Has anyone seen anything like this? If not, how do you deal with always having to have a key with you when you want to access the baggage compartment?
That would be awesome. I hate having to use the key, especially in windy days when you have to latch the door each time you open it.
Yes, that would do the trick. Exactly what we need. Hard to imagine why it wasn’t designed that way.
