I have been using the 430 simulator that I downloaded from the Garmin site. I recall an earlier post on this site that mentioned a simulator that is more tutorial in nature. Could someone please let me know the name of the software and where to get it. Thanks in advance.

You want to get the ASA GPS Trainer. This is actually a tutorial, which will be more usefull than the simulator alone.
Go to http://www.marvgolden.com and click on New Products and scroll down - you’ll see it. $89
