For the first 33 hours, my SR22 has been smooth as silk. Yesterday, I noticed vibration…on the ground, and in the air. It is prop/engine related for sure. It seems to smooth out when I pull the power back under 1,500 RPM. Sort of strange that it happened all at once. No hard landings, prop is perfect in appearance, feels tight.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance, Denis
Yes, get it looked at immediately and don’t fly it until it’s fixed! Don’t be a test pilot.

Ok… 2 things. First off the spinner can do this very easily.Pull the spinner and run it up on the ground to vibe check. That may be it.If Not that the prop is prolly outa sync.Blades arent pitched correctly(Each blade pitch is a hair off from the other one.).I have had that problem before.Cirrus I am sure should pick up the bill on all of this.If it just happended after 30 hours might just be the prop.I wouldnt fly it to much if thats the case.Planes hate vibes.

Both Cirruus and Continental (TCM) think it is a fuel pump problem. Now the real problem is getting a fuel pump. None in stock, so they have to build one. Interesting that they would not remove one from a new enging comming down the line. They make them one at a time??? I’m not sure about these TCM guys. They said 5-6 days for delivery. I’m starting to miss my Lycoming.

Yikes! Can you imagine going in to your Chevrolet, (MB, BMW, Lexis, Jaguar, etc.) dealer and have them tell you “Denis we don’t have a fuel pump for your current production engine, you are going to have to leave your vehicle here while we build one!”
I’m not sure about these TCM guys either.
