So Cal Fly In

Here goes…July 14th, it is a Sunday at Aqua Dulce (L70). www.aguadulceairpark.com I picked that date because my wife can come along.

They have recently repaved the runway and taxi ways. They have a real nice pilot lounge with two pool tables and a big screen TV. Outside they have nice picnic tables and a large grass area with a volley ball net. On the weekends they do a BBQ and we can make special requests.

Last time I was there, couple of weeks ago, 100LL was $2.15. The airport is surrounded by hills, but the runway is long 4,600’ so no big deal.

I am going to try and get somebody I know that flies the Goodyear Blimp to give a quick talk about the blimp. He does not know that yet, so if that does not work out, any suggestions are welcome.

Save that date and see ya there.

Forgot to add reply here or email me if you are coming and how many people. The normal fair is tri-tip, chicken, and hamburgers. Chips, drinks, and cookies are also available. Let me know your pleasure and they will accomodate special requests.

Thanks
David

My wife and I will be there! (Assuming the weather cooperates)

Let’s do the standard lunch thing. Try and be there around 11:30, July 14. Come earlier if you want, play some pool $1.00 per game, play catch, watch the big screen, or just chat.

If you want to bring a picnic lunch for yourself that works also. This is not a restaurant, simply a BBQ with cold drinks, chips and cookies and a nice enviroment.

I am keeping a list and will bulk email everyone before the event. At that time I will try and get some preferences so they can plan accordingly at Auga Dulce.

See ya there.

Bummer. Just found out I have to travel to Italy July 12th for a week. Would rather come to the fly in.

Walt

Sorry, on vacation with the family and cannot make it. Too bad, sounds like fun.

Looks like it’s the four of us!

Take care,

Make that 6. My partner Dante and I will be there in SR20 N7788T. What time should we arrive?
