After leaving the great fly-in at
San Luis Obispo and wiping the druel
off.We got the old 200 year old Piper
Warrior airborn and headed for Fresno
(Sky Park).On attempting flight following
we found L.A center to be to busy and waited
a few minutes for Oakland Center to come
in.That controller definatly had problems
at home .You could here it in his voice.
He kept refussing to acknowledge our
calls and the calls of another plane
with the Tail 157CD.Well the 157CD won and
finally got the Oakland center grouch to
give him a squak. You would think that
a Piper should get more respect than that.
