Reading Forum Posts

I read the public forum using threaded view. Currently each time I log on, all posts are shown in the same color whether I have previously read them or not. Is there a way of marking individual posts so that I will be able to tell which ones I have read when next logging on? The old site did this automatically, but I can’t seem to figure out if this system has this feature. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

James,

Steve Lin is the ultimate authority on this… but this feature should work for you. Do you have your browser’s cookies enabled? I think that if those are off, you might have the problem you’re seeing.

Mike.

James,
If you log in to the site (i.e. from the Main Index, it should say that you are logged in as JamesDayka), you should see new posts (i.e. those posts made since the last time you visited the forum) with a green icon next to them. Older posts should have a yellow icon.

Another feature you might be interested in is the ‘subscription’ feature - you can go to your “Control Panel” and “subscribe” to the forum. Then, every day you’ll receive an email containing the new posts from the past day.

Please let me know if these don’t work or if you have any other questions.

Thanks,
Steve
