Just curious what the “S” and “R” stand for. I’ve ordered the plane, toured the factory, and took a position in Cirrus Industries stock (in that order) but forgot to ask. Anybody know?

S= Single engine
R = Reciprocating ie: piston
at least as far as Cirrus goes.
btw, 20 = 200 horsepower.
Hmmm, shouldn’t it be the SR30 then
for the SR22?
