I noticed on newer CirrusÂ’, possibly 2001+, the location of the pitot static tube changed from eight inches inboard of the wing tip to just in front of the end of the trim tab. Anyone know what year, model(s), and, if available, serial number CirrusÂ’ made the change?
AhhÂ… I see, SR 22Â’s have longer wing tips (but not longer ailerons). It wasnÂ’t even half as complicated as I had made it out to be
