Need maintenance while at Migration - gotcha covered!

Although our planes enable us to go places and experience things unavailable (and sometimes unimaginable!) to ground-bound mortals, once in awhile they do need repair beyond what a knowledgeable pilot can provide. Migration 12 attendees have a couple of choices for maintenance (either planned or unplanned):

  • If you have an issue that needs a maintenance provider with deep knowledge of Cirrus Aircraft, Lone Mountain Aviation is but a short distance away. Based at the North Las Vegas airport, Kenny Scherado and his expert maintenance staff are a well-known Cirrus Service Center and equipped to deal with “all things Cirrus”. And, North Las Vegas (KVGT) is just north of McCarran International, only 15 nm. away (as the crow flies) from Henderson Executive (KHND). (It’s about 35 min. by car from KVGT to KHND.) To contact Lone Mountain Aviation, call Jim Jakus, Lone Mountain’s Service Manager, at 702-309-2200 or email Jim at jim.jakus@lonemountainaviation.com.
  • For issues that aren’t Cirrus-specific, you could contact Apex Aviation right on the field at Henderson Executive - call 702-281-9173 and ask for Brian or Scott. Since they are local, I’d probably consider them for simple things that are common to many GA aircraft.
By the way, Lone Mountain is one of our sponsors this year at Migration! So, on top of “putting things right” with our individual planes, Kenny is a strong supporter of COPA. In fact, his shop is in the same building as our North Las Vegas COPA office! So, if you have reason to visit the COPA office, poke your head around the corner and check out Lone Mountain. [Y]
