Update: 2022-09-29T17:00:00Z

The Migration Committee has been monitoring this storm and assessing the potential impacts on Migration for the past 10+ days, when it was just a disturbance in the eastern Caribbean Sea.
We are in contact with the Hotel, Airport, and Local Vendors on a continual bias.

While the current forecast and Models are favorable to the area around Amelia Island, the area is currently under a Storm Surge & Tropical Storm Warning, as well as a Hurricane Watch.

We are waiting for these Warnings and Watches to be lifted to make a final assessment of the Storms effect on Migration.

Our Migration team works hard every year, but this week’s weather has caused them to put in extraordinary hours to monitor and adjust last minute plans. Hats off to our entire team for all they do for COPA.
