Aren’t all birds a ‘high wing design’? At least among those birds that can actually fly, I can’t think of any low wing designs!
Your bird may not succeed in being very Cirrus-like, but it’s clear from his long, thin lips that he may have pioneered LOB* flight.

And my final pic till we do it again in May.
After a long day, we filed our flight plan, untethered ourselves from our earthly bonds, and wisked skyward into the sunset for our return trip home.

I can’t think of any low wing designs!


Here is a low wing bird. Often referred to as the flying sea moose of Florida. Note its aerodynamic and sleek design ideally suited for slow flight.
