ATC has no idea what a Cirrus is… They put us behind B-767’s and ask to maintain high speeds…They asked if we were a fighter jet.
I said it depends if my wife is on board, then we be fighting…

You will educate them over time. It takes about 2 months for the controllers to fully catch on. Be prepared for a lot of controller questions about the Cirrus.
