Known/anti-ice -- is it worth the wait?

TKS is gradually expanding the airplanes in which it can install its weeping wing system. However, my sense is that CD will not be using the technology due to incompatibility with composites (yes?)

My question is: if one believed that known-ice is a very important feature, should one WAIT for CD to incorporate it into the airplane, or do we think whatever they come up with will be able to be put on planes already out there?

At the AOPA meeting, Cirrus indicated that the anti-ice technology they are looking at is an electric system that must be built into the wing and will not be available for retro fit. So if you have to have anti-ice either wait or buy now and buy again later.
