I just got a quote from Tammy Orth at AOPA insurance. For 210K hull value and 1 million dollar liability/100,000 per person and zero deductible (you cannot chosse higher deductible-zero is standard) it came to $2814. The only low item was medical payments of $3000 per person. Since I never owned an airplane before I cannot compare this number/this policy to anything else. Maybe someone more experienced can comment. I feel that it’s probably a good policy and I am OK with the premium. What do you guys think? By the way it’s from USAIG and she said the more people get this insurance the lower the cost over time. So, please call AOPA and ask for Tammy Orth. Here is the quote you requested. The pilot requirements are factory school
prior to solo or carrying passengers. Any questions give me a call or email me.
