I am considering building a hangar that would be wide enough to turn an SR22 around inside. With the castering nose wheel, (I assume will pivot 90 degrees, correct me if wrong)what width would it take to spin plane with one of main wheels chocked with room to spare?
Also is it possible to spin plane by pulling end of wing around?
Is the wing strong enough at the end to get a hold of and do this?
May build hangar deep enough (51ft wide x 60 ft deep) to store 2 planes end to end. How hard will it be to push backwards and guide plane this distance?
Any ideas?

Hi Bernard,
You can find a chart with the SR22 turning radius in the Pilot’s Operating Handbook, which is now available on-line at the Cirrus Design web site (http://www.cirrusdesign.com/http://www.cirrusdesign.com/). Just click on the “AIRCRAFT” button at the upper left of the site’s window. You’ll see a link for “SR22 POH.”
Keep us posted on the hangar plans — sounds great!
Cheers,
Roger
