Does anyone know what Cirrus determined to be the cause of the door hinge failures?
I believe it was basically a design fault - here’s what I was told about after the new parts were fitted to our plane:
"It only took a 1/4 of a turn on the locating bolt
and the door fell off the hinge. The replacement parts are much longer and have a lock wire, therefore the problem should be solved."
