I recall sometime ago that Cirrus announced that financing would be available for their aircraft, much in the same way the Cessna arranges loans.
In Canada, with only about 7 banks (all big) they tend to look at you with glazed eyes when you ask about an aircraft loan. 65% and 7 years is about the maximum you can finance. (The only exception was my first glider - but then my partner was a bank manager!) I noted with interest in 1998 at Oshkosh the number of lenders who had booths.
Are any folks in the group here using Cirrus to finance part of their bird? If not, why not?
In the meantime I will be hoping the US-Canadian exhange rate and my microsoft and Intel shares recover in time for the delivery day next spring!
