I’ve noticed that my ARNAV occasionally freezes. When this happens the error message “acquiring” appears. The map on the 430 that supplies the ARNAV is working fine, so what’s the problem? It seems that if I hit the exit button a couple of times the ARNAV map goes back into action. Anyone else experience this?

Bill: I had one occasion with the ARNAV doing repeat cycles with information rolling on the screen. Exit button seemed to stop that, but I have no idea why it happened. No apparent problem with the 430. It has not recurred. Total time now is about 35 hrs.
