Useful source for Canadian charts

I recently purchased Canadian charts from Aero Training Products (ATP, http://www.aerotraining.com/http://www.aerotraining.com/). Like Sporty’s, they’re an approved Canadian chart dealer (see http://Aero.NRCan.gc.ca/english/ATS_dealer_e.htmlhttp://Aero.NRCan.gc.ca/english/ATS_dealer_e.html); unlike Sporty’s, they charge the Canadian prices for charts and aeronautical publications. As an example, the Canada Flight Supplement lists at $29.00 Canadian; ATP sells it for $29.00 Canadian ($18.95 US), while Sporty’s sells it for $29.00 US.

The shipping costs are reasonable as well — ATP charged me just $6.95 to send $62.18 worth of charts by Priority Mail. (They ship from Washington state, so they’re not subject to the vagaries of Canada Post.)

Should your travels take you north of the border to the land of http://www.timhortons.com/Tim Hortons and http://www.hasc.ca/~tikin/poutine-eng.htmlpoutine, I’d recommend you give ATP a try.

Cheers,
Roger
