Yesterday, I was on a trip and the tach was pulsating about 100 RPM’s. Has this happen to anyone else?
In my 20, that was the first sign of the Tach Generator going bad.
What did it cost you guys to have it replaced? Is this something that only a Cirrus service center can fix or can my local A&P handle this?

My first post. I took delivery ( via power of attorney) of my SR20 in January and have yet to pick it up (it’s hangared in Duluth). As a new owner I really appreciate the info shared by those with lots of Cirrus experience. Thanks for the time and insights.
