Pre-Migration Event: Scott Anderson Leadership Forum (SALF) Golf Tournament!

If you’d like to arrive a day or two early, want to enjoy a little golf, and participate in a very worthy cause, Gary Black (Cirrus Aircraft) and Michael Henderson (Merrill Lynch) have organized a charity golf tournament for the Scott Anderson Leadership Forum. It will be held at the Northland Country Club along the shore of Lake Superior. Participants can practice on Wednesday with 2 - 4 p.m. tee times; tee off in the tournament on Thursday, September 8th from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Green fees will be $160 (which includes a $50 donation to the SALF); carts are $20.

I’ve been told that the Scott Anderson Leadership Forum has trained 110 juniors and seniors from 12 Northland area high schools for the past 14 years in leadership and volunteering. This fundraiser will strengthen the endowment for the program.

For anyone who doesn’t know, Scott Anderson was responsible for most of the R&D flight testing on the Cirrus SR20 and completed all 8 in-flight CAPS deployments.
