Oh well. It turned out that the starter wire had broken loose in flight and ELT transmitter went on the blink. So far no definitve answers as to why or what caused the other problems. Hoping it was an isolated situation…Over and out.
Where did the wire break loose from the starter, was it right at the starter?
Some people did have problems, I believe, with the wire breaking at that point
in the past. I’ve been giving that connection a good tug at each servicing, after
reading about that in past posts.

Is the crimp on wire connection breaking? And on another note what did they do with the ford plant (West Milford, N.J. kid)…Ed
