I just read the new article on the Lancair 400 in the new issue of Plane and Pilot.
Very impressive numbers:
1300 fpm climb
243 knot cruise
1300(?) lb useful load
$349,000
and a very nice primary flight display (looked like a bizjet)
Too bad the plane is just so freakin’ ugly.
