During a pre-buy inspection on a 2012 sr 22 T GTS, we located a groove on the lower wing located around the landing gear fairing please see attached picture The friction between fairing and wing exposed the fiberglass has anyone else have this issue ?
Vincent, I have a 2017 G6 and it’s already showing wear grooves at this location. At every annual I put a good coat of wax on the seam and may help the sawing action slightly. It seems to me Cirrus should at least put a glued rubber channel on these fairing edges.
