My fuel pump does not work in boost mode at all and when in prime position cycles on and off in a somewhat rhythmic fashion. While the problem is being diagnosed, anybody have a similar experience or want to make a guess as to the problem? I will post the answer once the problem is fixed.
My pump went from intermittant to hard failure, and was diagnosed as wires pulled out from the engine-side of the thru-firewall connector. Seems they were ‘just’ long enuf, had some tension on them, and vibrated out. Like my oil temp probe, altitude preselect, alt2, starter, landing light, …
