Eclipse Aerospace Factory Tour via M12 - October 7 and 8

Andy, a reiteration of the information on the RegOnline signup page is below. I would make a res at the hotel, because it is Balloon Festival week in Albuquerque and rooms will probably be scarce. The “block” has expired but you can try anyway. I am staying at the Sheraton at ABQ Airport, which still had rooms as of a few days ago.

Contact Cutter Aviation (our host FBO for this event) to reserve ramp space. www.cutteraviation.com or call 505-842-4184. Cutter is right next to Eclipse Aerospace – walking distance - and Cutter has agreed to give COPA members a $1.00/gal discount off their posted rate! Cutter requires a reservation by calling ahead or hitting the website and letting them know when they will arrive, your N# and that be sure to tell Cutter you are with COPA in order to get the discount.

· Hotel - The tour will take between 1.5 -2 hours to complete. If you would like to remain overnight Eclipse has arranged a hotel for COPA Migrants as well at the MCM Elegante Albuquerque located at 2020 Menaul NE, Albuquerque, NM 87107. Phone 505-884-2511 or preferably go to their website COPA MCM Hotel ABQ for the Eclipse/COPA Rate- $89/night plus tax which includes 2 drinks on the night of arrival and a full breakfast buffet including cooked to order eggs and omelets. They will also provide shuttle service to and from the hotel for Cutter and Eclipse Aerospace. Don’t delay. The Hotel will hold 10 rooms for us on October 7th and 10 rooms on the 8th. Block closes September 26. After that it is first come/first serve on an “as available basis.”

The original Eclipse was going to move there, but EAI is at KABQ, right next to Cutter.

Gordon,

That would be fantastic. Tuesday Jeff and John = 2

Hi - my wife Anna and I are signed up for Tuesday; to be determined if we drive down from Santa Fe (our stop en route to M12) or fly down; if we fly - will likely fly back before dinner; if we drive - likely stay for dinner.

See you all soon.

Bruce (278CD)

We got reservations just day or so ago for two nights, so worth a try.

Gordon,

Thanks for the info; I may try and score us a couple of rooms; if no luck, we’ll try to see where Cutter can get us in.

Be safe and have fun,

Randy, can you do me a favor? When you get together with the others for the Tuesday tour, can you get a head count of how many will be dining at Padilla’s and then give me a call on my cell and leave a voicemail message or text me? PL and I will be flying in with Curt and will probably get in around 4:30. When I get in I can call Padilla’s and give them the count. IIRC they have a side room that should work. Either that, or you could call Padilla’s and give them your count + 3. Their # is 505-262-0115. Mine is 805-448-8292.

I will call them Tuesday AM and give them a heads-up to hold a large table, under the name COPA.

Gordon,

Will call Padilla’s w/ head count + 3 and send you a txt ! See ya there !

Have good flight !

Thanks. Oh, and I’m thinking 6:30 if that works for everyone.

Thanks so much Gordon. It is Jeff + John = 2 and we are looking forward to seeing everyone. Hopefully the headwinds will not be a high for us from Kansas City today.

Had a great dinner tonight at Padilla’s in Albuquerque, with everyone fresh from the Eclipse factory tour.

Thanks Gordon for setting up the Dinner. Was a great way to start the M12 Party.

We had a great time at the Factory. Thanks Eclipse for a wonderful time and learning about this impressive product and the passion of the Eclipse Team in bringing it to world.

Gordon

Did you get Dennis Whiteturkey to smile?[:)]
