Database update for chartview g7 sr20

hey all. just took delivery of our new g7 sr20. just finished the first 25 hour service. was updating the databases using our complimentary 1 year subscription to jepp, noticed that there is one category (chartview) that says it is still out of date. everything else seemed to transfer ok. im just wondering, would that be the garmin charts that are out of date and the jepp charts and plates are all up to date now? just want to make sure as i keep flying i am going to have the current plates/charts on the airplane.
otherwise plane is doing very well. i am using about a quart of oil every 2 hours or so of flying, seems high still, even for break in. i am adhering to the break in procedure in the AFM for the io390, was wondering if others(although i know in here most are sr22 owners) had the same experience for their first 50 hours.

So my reply may be irrelevant because it’s based on G6/P+ avionics, but for me, I recall my ChartView data being separate from the Nav Data subscription, and I had to purchase both from Jepp. Is it possible your free trial only includes Jepp Nav Data?

I contend that the most difficult part of flying (by far) is database updates.

At least for P+, once you figure out what works for you, it’s easy, but there is a learning curve.

Can’t help with the Lycoming 4 Cyl. SR20, but recently broke in a new IO360ES. Oil added during the first 25 hour’s at 9t above 80% power was 3 quarts, mostly in the first 10 hours. I returned more than half of the break in Oil in exchange for our regular oil.

I have a G7 and also have the 1 year subcription from Jepp. You do not need another subscription - all of the charts are available via the Jeppesen Distribution Manager with the 1 year subscription. But I have had trouble with Chartview before. I would suggest re-downloading it. I believe you want to have cycle 2506 that was issued on 14 MAR 2025.
