AOPA’s web site has posted a gallery of photos of planes parading to the expo site along US 1 and city streets. If you look carefully, you’ll find one with an SR22 and a SR20 taxing along a city street – not something you would expect, eh?

The Parade of Planes at AOPA Expo indeed took place this morning in Ft. Lauderdale. First in line was the AOPA Sweepstakes Bonanza. Right behind that came an SR22, an SR20 and another SR 22. Very clear that Cirrus was leading the way. Unfortunately, one of the 22’s clipped a wingtip on a sign post alongside the route, but that did little to dampen the enthusiasm of the Cirrus people at the show. Looking forward to getting together with Cirrus folks over the next several days.
