I’m pleased to announce the western schedule for the CPPP for 2005. This year we will be offering four sessions, twice the number offered last year:
Location Date
-------- ----
Scottsdale, AZ (KSDL) 3/4 - 3/6/2005
Santa Maria, CA (KSMX) 4/1 - 4/3/2005
Denver, CO (KAPA) 4/29 - 5/1/2005
Concord, CA (KCCR) 11/4 - 11/6/2005
We will kick off the year in sunny Scottdale, which will provide a fine location for both aviators and itinierent spouses alike. Santa Maria, centrally located between LA and the Bay Area in wine-country is a return location after a very successful previous engagement. Denver is a new location for us, and as there aren’t so many Colorado-based planes we’re hoping to attract people from many areas with the challenging terrain options available from the base of the Rockies. Finally we’ll wrap up in the Bay Area in Concord, where we hope to draw pilots both from the Pacific Northwest and from the LA basin.
Additional information and course registration is available on the http://www.cirruspilots.org/public/cppp/schedule.html>CPPP. A brief summary of the CPPP syllabus appears [here.
For those COPA members whose current (or possibly future) insurance underwriter requires recurrent training by a Cirrus certified instructor (CSIP), all CPPP instructors are now CSIP qualified.
Look forward to seeing you at a CPPP in 2005.
