CIRRUS BECOMES FIRST HIGHJACK PROOF GA –

Cirrus Design employee Jeff demonstrated today Cirrus design’s innovative anti-hijacking engagement mechanism, or AHEM for short.

It works like this. Once the pilot realizes they have a hijacker on board - they calmly obey all commands to out the hijacker at ease. Then the pilot, feigning boredom at how easy the Cirrus is to fly, stretches his/her right arm up - as if they were YAWNING. Their fingers casually find the red handle located in the ceiling. A quick yank and

VOILA

The airplane is now disarmed. It floats gently to the earth under a nice parachute - to the waiting authorities below.

Maybe not just funny. An airliner BRS could solve a number of problems.
